4. Emphasizing the importance of the efforts made by the United Nations to maintain international peace and security, the Ministers stressed the primary responsibility of the Security Council in this respect.
٤ - وأبرز الوزراء أهمية الجهود التي تبذلها اﻷمم المتحدة لصون السلم واﻷمن الدوليين، وأكدوا على المسؤولية الرئيسية لمجلس اﻷمن في هذا الصدد.

A new nineteenth preambular paragraph should be inserted: " Reaffirming, in this regard, that education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms and shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations, racial or religious groups and further the activities of the United Nations for the maintenance of peace " .
79- تُدرج الفقرة التاسعة عشرة الجديدة التالية في الديباجة: " وإذ تشدد في هذا الصدد، على وجوب توجيه التربية والتعليم إلى الإنماء الكامل للشخصية الإنسانية وإلى توطيد احترام حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية، وتوثيق أواصر التفاهم والتسامح والصداقة بين جميع الأمم ومختلف الفئات العرقية أو الإثنية أو الدينية، وتعزيز الأنشطة التي تقوم بها الأمم المتحدة لصون السلم، " .

Welcoming the assistance given by the United Nations towards the maintenance of peace and security in the Pacific Islands Forum region,
وإذ ترحب بالمساعدة المقدمة من الأمم المتحدة لصون السلام والأمن الدوليين في منطقة منتدى جزر المحيط الهادئ،

By draft resolution A/56/L.29 the Assembly would welcome the ongoing efforts towards closer cooperation between the United Nations and the Pacific Islands Forum, including the assistance provided by the United Nations towards the maintenance of peace and security in our region.
وبموجب مشروع القرار A/56/L.29 سترحب الجمعية بالجهود الجارية من أجل توثيق التعاون بين الأمم المتحدة ومنتدى جزر المحيط الهادئ، بما في ذلك المساعدة المقدمة من الأمم المتحدة لصون السلام والأمن الدوليين في منطقتنا.
