140. It was further observed that the Special Committee should continue working on the question of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies.
١٤٠ - ولوحظ كذلك أنه ينبغي للجنة الخاصة أن تواصل العمل بشأن مسألة التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والتنظيمات أو الوكالات اﻹقليمية.

At its 1994 session, the Special Committee had unanimously adopted the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security, established on the basis of the Russian proposal.

He welcomed the contribution of the Special Committee to the elaboration of the Declaration on the Enhancement of Cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the Maintenance of International Peace and Security, contained in General Assembly resolution 49/57.
ورحب بمساهمة اللجنة الخاصة في وضع اﻹعلان المتعلق بتعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة والتنظيمات أو الوكالات اﻹقليمية في مجال صون السلم واﻷمن الدوليين الوارد في قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٩/٥٧.

9. Mr. MWANGI (Kenya) welcomed the adoption by the Special Committee of the draft declaration on the enhancement of cooperation between the United Nations and regional arrangements or agencies in the maintenance of international peace and security.
