We also affirm the legally established right of the Republic of Iraq, in accordance with the principle of State responsibility, to seek compensation for the damage it has sustained through acts of aggression that are in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and the norms of public international law.
وكذلك تؤكد حق جمهورية العراق الثابت قانونا، بالتعويض عن اﻷضرار التي لحقت بها جراء القيام بهذه اﻷعمال العدوانية المخالفة لميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة وﻷحكام القانون الدولي العام، وفقا لمبدأ المسؤولية الدولية.

These acts constitute a violation of the Charter of the United Nations and the rules of international law and infringe the sovereignty and security of Iraq.
