وإذ تذكِّر بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان لعام 1948 قد نص على حق كل شخص في أن يتمتع بجنسية،

11. Recalls that the Universal Declaration on Human Rights recognizes that everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating their fundamental rights, and therefore:
11 - يذكّر بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يقرّ بأن لكل إنسان الحق في الإنصاف الفعلي من جانب المحاكم الوطنية المختصة فيما يتعلق بالأفعال التي تنتهك حقوقه الإنسانية، ولذلك:

Moreover, in his covering note, the SecretaryGeneral is careful to point out that: " The Universal Declaration of Human Rights remains one of the Organization's greatest achievements.
لذا فإن الأمين العام، في خطاب الإحالة، يذكر بحذر بأن " الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان ما زال من أعظم إنجازات المنظمة.

64- وذكّرت النرويج بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يحدد المبدأ الأساسي المتمثل في أن سلطة الحكومة يجب أن تقوم على إرادة الشعب المعبر عنها في انتخابات حقيقية.

11- يذكِّر بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يُقرّ بأن لكل إنسان الحق في الانتصاف الفعال من جانب المحاكم الوطنية المختصة فيما يتعلق بالأفعال التي تنتهك حقوقه الإنسانية، ولذلك:

Recalling also that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights declares the right to freedom of peaceful assembly and association and that the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights provides for the right of peaceful assembly and the right to freedom of association with others,
وإذ تذكِّر أيضاً بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يعلن الحق في حرية التجمع السلمي وفي تكوين الجمعيات، وأن العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية ينص على الحق في التجمع السلمي والحق في حرية تكوين الجمعيات بالاشتراك مع آخرين،

They recalled that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights explicitly and unambiguously obliged all States to provide protection and support for the family as the natural and fundamental unit of society.
وذكّرت بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية تلزم جميع الدول على نحو صريح وواضح بتوفير الحماية والدعم للأسرة باعتبارها الوحدة الطبيعية والأساسية في المجتمع.

11- يذكِّر بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يُقرّ بأن لكل إنسان الحق في سبل انتصاف فعالة لدى المحاكم الوطنية المختصة من الأفعال التي تنتهك حقوقه الأساسية، ولذلك:

Aware that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights provided for " a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations " in their pursuit of the promotion and protection of all human rights, his Government was committed to the promotion and protection of the human rights of its citizens and was making earnest efforts to address problems besetting society in that area.
وإدراكا من حكومته بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان ينص على " معيار مشترك للإنجاز بالنسبة لكافة الشعوب وكافة الأمم " في سعيها لتعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها، فإنها تلتزم بتعزيز حقوق الإنسان لمواطنيها وحمايتها وتبذل جهودا دؤوبة لمعالجة المشكلات التي تواجه المجتمع في هذا المجال.

(i) Recalls that the Universal Declaration on Human Rights recognizes that everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted to him or her;
(ط) يُذَكّر بأن الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان يُقر بأن لكل إنسان الحق في اللجوء إلى المحاكم الوطنية المختصة لإنصافه الفعلي من أية أعمال تنتهك الحقوق الأساسية الممنوحة إياه؛
