Botswana was also reminded to submit to the Secretariat data for the year 2007 in accordance with Article 7 of the Protocol, preferably no later than 1 September 2008, in order that at its forty-first meeting the Committee might assess the Party's compliance with its methyl bromide commitment contained in decision XV/31.
وجرى أيضاً تذكير بوتسوانا بأن تقدم إلى الأمانة بيانات عن عام 2007 وفقاً للمادة 7 من البروتوكول، ويفضل أن يتم ذلك في موعد لا يتجاوز 1 أيلول/سبتمبر 2008، حتى يتسنى للاجتماع الحادي والأربعين للجنة تقييم مدى امتثال الطرف لالتزامه بشأن بروميد الميثيل الوارد في المقرر 15/31.

(b) To remind Nauru to submit to the Secretariat as soon as possible its outstanding baseyear data, recalling that paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 7 of the Protocol provided for Parties to submit best possible estimates of base-year data where actual data are not available.

Recommendation 34/29 noted with appreciation Nauru's submission of its outstanding data in accordance with decision XVI/17 and reminded Nauru to submit to the Secretariat as soon as possible its outstanding baseyear data, recalling that paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 7 of the Protocol provided for Parties to submit best possible estimates of base-year data where actual data were not available.

The recommendation further urged the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya to submit to the Secretariat an update on the status of its commitment, contained in its CFC plan of action, to establish an ozone-depleting substance import and export licensing and quota system, no later than 30 September 2005, for consideration by the Committee at its thirty-fifth meeting.
كما طالبت التوصية الجماهيرية العربية الليبية بأن تقدم إلى الأمانة تحديثاً بشأن الوضع الخاص بالتزامها، الوارد بخطة عملها الخاصة بمركبات الكربون الكلورية فلورية، بإنشاء نظام لمنح التراخيص وتحديد الحصص لاستيراد وتصدير المواد المستنفدة للأوزون، في موعد غايته 30 أيلول/سبتمبر 2005، لبحثه بواسطة اللجنة في اجتماعها الخامس والثلاثين.

Recommendation 34/21 urged Kazakhstan to submit to the Secretariat its data for 2004 and a report on the status of its import ban on ozone-depleting-substance-using equipment as soon as possible, and no later than 30 September 2005, so that at its thirty-fifth meeting the Committee might assess the Party's implementation of its commitments contained in decision XIII/19.

Noting with concern that Ecuador has not responded to the request of the thirty-eighth meeting of the Implementation Committee, recorded in recommendation 38/13, to submit to the Secretariat the information requested in its correspondence dated 27 April 2007 in order that the Committee might complete its review of the Party's plan of action for returning to compliance with the control measures of the Montreal Protocol for methyl bromide,

Under that decision, Guatemala also committed to ban by 2005 the import of equipment that uses ODS and had been requested by the Implementation Committee in its recommendation 38/19 to submit to the Secretariat an explanation as to why that ban did not also cover the import of equipment using other ODS in accordance with the commitment detailed in paragraph 3 (d) of decision XV/34.
كما التزمت غواتيمالا بموجب ذلك المقرر بأن تحظر قبل عام 2005 استيراد المعدات التي تستخدم المواد المستنفدة للأوزون وقد طلبت منها لجنة التنفيذ في توصيتها 38/19 بأن تقدم إلى الأمانة تفسيراً للسبب في عدم تغطية هذا الحظر لاستيراد المعدات التي تستخدم مواداً أخرى مستنفدة للأوزون وفقاً للالتزام المفصل في الفقرة 3 (د) من المقرر 15/34.
