9- يحث كذلك الدول على القيام، في إطار نظمها القانونية والدستورية، بتوفير الحماية الكافية من أفعال الكراهية والتمييز والترهيب والإكراه الناشئة عن تشويه صورة أي دين، وعلى اتخاذ جميع التدابير الممكنة لتعزيز التسامح واحترام جميع الأديان ومنظومات قيمها، وعلى تكملة النظم القانونية باستراتيجيات فكرية وأخلاقية لمكافحة الكراهية والتعصب الدينيين؛

5. In addition, the General Assembly in the same resolution, which was adopted by a vote of 79 to 67, with 40 abstentions, also urged all States " to take all possible measures to promote tolerance and respect for all religions and beliefs and the understanding of their value systems and to complement legal systems with intellectual and moral strategies to combat religious hatred and intolerance " .
5 - وإضافة إلى ذلك، حثت الجمعية العامة، في القرار ذاته المتخذ بأغلبية 79 صوتا مقابل 67 صوتا مع امتناع 40 عضوا عن التصويت، جميع الدول أيضا على " اتخاذ جميع التدابير الممكنة لتعزيز التسامح واحترام جميع الأديان والمعتقدات وفهم منظومات القيم الخاصة بها، وعلى استكمال أنظمتها القانونية باستراتيجيات فكرية وأخلاقية لمكافحة الكراهية والتعصب الدينيين " .
