While appreciating Guinea's efforts to combat the trafficking of women and girls, CEDAW remained concerned, as highlighted also by UNHCR, about the absence of adequate measures to combat this phenomenon, including its causes and extent, in particular from Guinea's position as a country of origin, transit and destination.
28- وفي الوقت الذي أعربت فيه اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة عن تقديرها لجهود غينيا الرامية إلى مكافحة الاتجار بالنساء والفتيات، لا يزال القلق يساورها، على النحو الذي أكدته مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين(55)، تجاه انعدام تدابير كافية لمكافحة هذه الظاهرة، بما في ذلك أسبابها ومدى انتشارها، ولا سيما انطلاقاً من وضع غينيا باعتبارها بلد منشأ وعبور ومقصد(56).
