In this respect, States must abide by the principles established in the Convention, which provides that marine scientific research in such areas should be carried out exclusively for peaceful purposes and for the benefit of the whole of humanity.

Another publication on scientific research was the Archaeological Review of the National Museum, which published various archaeological and anthropological studies but ceased publication in 1996 due to lack of funds.
ومن الإصدارات الأخرى المتعلقة بالبحث العلمي صحيفة الآثار التي يصدرها المتحف الوطني، وهي تنشر مختلف الدراسات الأثرية والأنثروبولوجية، ولكنها توقفت عن الصدور في عام 1996 نتيجة نقص الأموال.

4. In the present report, the Special Rapporteur hopes to catalyse a robust discussion among States, scientific researchers and practitioners, civil society groups and the private sector to further elucidate the right to science.
