:: Give full support to the upcoming special session of the United Nations General Assembly which will be held in June 1998 for the purpose of promoting international cooperation with respect to illicit drugs and related crimes and encourage all States to participate actively, at the highest level, in that international meeting.

(c) Governments should be encouraged to establish multi-agency drug law enforcement interdiction teams at container ports, develop harmonized risk indicators as part of the process of container control and maintain regular exchanges of information between counterparts at different ports on transit consignments as part of their response to effectively identifying containers of interest and at risk of being used in trafficking illicit drugs.
(ج) ينبغي تشجيع الحكومات على أن تنشئ في موانئ الحاويات أفرقة مشتركة بين الأجهزة لإنفاذ قوانين المخدرات، وأن تضع مؤشرات منسّقة للمخاطر كجزء من عملية مراقبة الحاويات، وأن تجري مبادلات منتظمة للمعلومات بين الأجهزة النظيرة في الموانئ المختلفة بشأن الشحنات العابرة، وذلك كجزء من ردها، بغية التعرف الفعّال على الحاويات المثيرة للانتباه والمعرّضة لخطر استخدامها في الاتجار بالعقاقير غير المشروعة.
