The Venezuelan proposal to establish an open-ended working group to study the proper implementation of the Charter of the United Nations with respect to the functional relationship of its organs and the Cuban proposal concerning the relationship between the General Assembly and the Security Council merited serious study.
وأضاف أن المقترح الفنزويلي بشأن إنشاء فريق عامل مفتوح باب العضوية لدراسة التنفيذ السليم لميثاق الأمم المتحدة فيما يتعلق بالعلاقة الوظيفية بين أجهزة الأمم المتحدة، والمقترح الكوبي بشأن العلاقة بين الجمعية العامة ومجلس الأمن يستحقان دراسة جادة.

33. The representative of the sponsor delegation recalled that the proposal was aimed at strengthening the Organization by encouraging the implementation of the provisions of the Charter pertaining to the functional relationship of its organs.
33 - وذكَّر ممثل الوفد صاحب المقترح بأن مقترحه يرمي إلى تعزيز المنظمة عن طريق التشجيع على تنفيذ أحكام الميثاق المتصلة بالعلاقة الوظيفية بين أجهزتها.

The same group also cited the work of the Special Committee on the Charter of the United Nations and on the Strengthening of the Role of the Organization, which it thought could contribute greatly to the process of revitalization, in particular with respect to the functional relationship of the principal organs.

Her delegation also supported the working papers submitted by the delegation of Cuba on the strengthening of the role of the Organization and enhancing its effectiveness: adoption of recommendations, and by the delegation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the establishment of an open-ended working group to study the proper implementation of the Charter of the United Nations with respect to the functional relationship of its organs.
