At the 7th meeting, Ms. Hampson, member of the Working Group on Indigenous Populations, presented a working paper on the human rights situation of indigenous peoples in States and territories threatened with extinction for environmental reasons, submitted earlier to the twenty-second session of the Working Group (E/CN.4/Sub.2/AC.4/2004/CRP.1).
