70. In the first paragraph of the resolution, the Commission recognized the Standard Rules as an evaluative instrument to be used to assess the degree of compliance with human rights standards concerning disabled people.
71 - وفي الفقرة الأولى من القرار أقرت اللجنة بالقواعد الموحدة باعتبارها أداة ينبغي استخدامها لتقدير مدى الامتثال لمعايير حقوق الإنسان المتعلقة بالمعوقين.

In addition to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UNICEF policy paper on children in need of special protection measures, UNICEF officials have also used the Standard Rules in their promotion of human rights and improved conditions for the children of the world.
وإلى جانب اتفاقية حقوق الطفل والورقة المتعلقة بالسياسات العامة التي أعدتها اليونيسيف عن اﻷطفال المحتاجين إلى تدابير خاصة للحماية استعان مسؤولو اليونيسيف أيضا بالقواعد الموحدة في الترويج لحقوق اﻹنسان وتحسين اﻷحوال ﻷطفال العالم.

5. Greater awareness and understanding of the Standard Rules are being promoted through their publication and distribution by the United Nations, Member States and the non-governmental community.
٥ - وتقوم اﻷمم المتحدة والدول اﻷعضاء ومجتمع المنظمات غير الحكومية حاليا بتعميق الوعي بالقواعد الموحدة وزيادة فهمها عن طريق النشر والتوزيع.

67. During the period under review, the United Nations Voluntary Fund on Disability directed special attention to supporting activities relating to the Standard Rules and the development objectives of the World Programme of Action.
٦٧ - وخلال الفترة قيد الاستعراض، أولى صندوق اﻷمم المتحدة للتبرعات لحالات العجز اهتماما خاصا لدعم اﻷنشطة المتصلة بالقواعد الموحدة واﻷهداف اﻹنمائية الواردة في " برنامج العمل العالمي " .

For that purpose, paragraph (2) established a threshold for technical equivalence of foreign certificates based on testing their reliability against the reliability requirements established by the enacting State pursuant to the Uniform Rules.
