During the Conference, the United Nations Global Compact convened the ninth meeting of the Working Group on the Tenth Principle, against corruption.
100- عَقد اتفاق الأمم المتحدة العالمي، أثناء المؤتمر، الاجتماعَ التاسع للفريق العامل المعني بالمبدأ العاشر لمكافحة الفساد.

a. Participation in the governance structure of the United Nations Global Compact and in the inter-agency meetings of the Global Compact, in particular the working group on the Tenth Principle against corruption (1);
أ- المشاركة في هيكل حوكمة شؤون الاتفاق العالمي للأمم المتحدة وفي الاجتماعات المشتركة بين الوكالات بشأن الميثاق العالمي، ولا سيما اجتماع الفريق العامل المعني بالمبدأ العاشر لمكافحة الفساد (1)؛

UNODC has continued to participate actively in the work of the United Nations Global Compact Working Group on the Tenth Principle/Global Compact Working Group on Anti-Corruption, focusing on the private sector's commitment to fighting corruption.
45- وما يزال المكتب يشارك بنشاط في أعمال الفريق العامل التابع للاتفاق العالمي والمعني بالمبدأ العاشر/الفريق العامل التابع للاتفاق العالمي والمعني بمكافحة الفساد، مركِّزا على التزام القطاع الخاص بمكافحة الفساد.

The report represented an attempt -- the first of its kind -- to take stock of companies' efforts to abide by the United Nations Global Compact's Tenth Principle, on anti-corruption, and consolidate the body of existing knowledge on the matter.
ويمثِّل التقرير محاولة - هي الأولى من نوعها - لتقييم الجهود التي تبذلها الشركات في سبيل التقيّد بالمبدأ العاشر من مبادئ مبادرة الاتفاق العالمي للأمم المتحدة، بشأن الفساد، ولتوحيد مجموعة المعارف القائمة حول هذه المسألة.

UNODC maintains a close partnership with the United Nations Global Compact with a view to promoting the implementation of the Tenth Principle of the Global Compact, which states that " Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery " , and participates in the meetings of the Global Compact Working Group on the Tenth Principle.
43- ويحافظ المكتب على الشراكة الوثيقة بينه وبين الاتفاق العالمي للأمم المتحدة، بغية الترويج لتنفيذ المبدأ العاشر من الاتفاق العالمي، الذي ينص على أنَّه " يتعين على المؤسسات التجارية مكافحة الفساد بكل أشكاله، بما فيها الابتزاز والرشو " ، ويشارك في الاجتماعات التي يعقدها الفريق العامل التابع للاتفاق العالمي والمعني بالمبدأ العاشر.

Since the third meeting of the Global Compact Working Group on the Tenth Principle, in June 2008, UNODC has provided substantial contributions in three areas in particular: the development of a guide to facilitate companies' reporting on the Tenth Principle, a tool to prevent and fight corruption along the supply chain and a campaign waged by top business leaders in support of the Convention against Corruption.
44- ومنذ الاجتماع الثالث لفريق الاتفاق العالمي العامل المعني بالمبدأ العاشر الذي عُقد في حزيران/يونيه 2008، قدَّم المكتب مساهمات كبيرة في ثلاثة مجالات على وجه الخصوص: إصدار دليل لتسهيل قيام الشركات بتقديم تقارير عن المبدأ الثالث، وإعداد أداة لمنع الفساد ومكافحته على امتداد سلسلة التوريد، وتنظم حملة بدأتها شخصيات قيادية في مجال الأعمال دعماً لاتفاقية مكافحة الفساد.

59. After the third meeting of the working group on the Tenth Principle of the Global Compact (on anti-corruption) was held on 5 and 6 June 2008, UNODC contributed substantively to the development of (a) a guide to facilitate companies' reporting on the Tenth Principle, (b) a tool to prevent and fight corruption along the supply chain, and (c) a campaign waged by top business leaders in support of the Convention.
59- عقب الاجتماع الثالث للفريق العامل المعني بالمبدأ العاشر للاتفاق العالمي (بشأن مكافحة الفساد) الذي عُقد يومي 5 و6 حزيران/يونيه 2008، قدَّم المكتب مساهمات موضوعية في (أ) إصدار دليل لتسهيل قيام الشركات بتقديم تقارير عن المبدأ العاشر، (ب) استحداث أداة لمنع الفساد ومكافحته على امتداد سلسلة التوريد، (ج) تنظيم حملة بدأتها شخصيات قيادية في مجال الأعمال دعماً للاتفاقية.
