B. Resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal
باء - القرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة

This followed almost immediately after the conclusion of the fourth session of the Tribunal and the adoption of its Rules, the Resolution on Internal Judicial Practice and the Guidelines concerning the Preparation and Presentation of Cases before the Tribunal.
وقد حدث ذلك عقب اختتام الدورة الرابعة للمحكمة مباشرة تقريبا، واعتماد نظامها، والقرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة، والمبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بإعداد القضايا وعرضها على المحكمة.

2. Adoption of the Resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal, which is to set out in detail the practices to be followed by the Tribunal in the discharge of its judicial function.
٢ - اعتماد القرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة الذي سيحدد بالتفصيل الممارسات التي يتعين على المحكمة اتباعها في الاضطلاع بوظيفتها القضائية؛

49. On 31 October 1997, during the fourth session, the Tribunal adopted the Resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal, pursuant to article 40 of the Rules.
٤٩ - في ٢١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٧، خلال الدورة الرابعة، اتخذت المحكمة القرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة، عملا بالمادة ٤٠ من نظام المحكمة.

In particular, we are pleased to note that last month, during its fourth session, the Tribunal adopted three significant instruments, namely; the rules of the Tribunal, a set of guidelines to assist parties in presenting cases, and a resolution on Internal Judicial Practice.
ويسعدنا بوجــه خاص أن نحيط علما بأن المحكمة في دورتها الرابعة من الشهر الماضي، اعتمدت ثلاثة صكوك هامة، هي نظــام المحكمة، ومجموعة مبادئ توجيهية لمساعدة اﻷطراف في عرض القضايا، والقرار الخاص بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية.

(d) Meeting of the Drafting Committee under articles 7 and 11 of the resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal: five weeks;

38. The Committee on Rules and Judicial Practice is entrusted with keeping under review the Rules of the Tribunal and their application, the Resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal and the Guidelines concerning the Preparation and Presentation of Cases before the Tribunal.
٣٨ - اللجنة المعنية بالنظام وبالممارسـات القضائيـة مكلفـة بأن تبقـي قيــد الاستعـراض نظـام المحكمة وتطبيقه، والقرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة والمبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بإعداد القضايا وعرضها على المحكمة.

10. In his introductory statement, the President of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea highlighted the achievements of the Tribunal, especially the establishment of chambers and the adoption of the Rules of the Tribunal and Resolution on the Internal Judicial Practice of the Tribunal, as well as of Guidelines concerning the Preparation and Presentation of Cases before the Tribunal.
١٠ - وتحدث رئيس المحكمة الدولية لقانون البحار في بيانه الاستهلالي عن المنجزات التي حققتها المحكمة وأبرز منها إنشاء الغرف، وإقرار نظام المحكمة، والقرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية للمحكمة، والمبادئ التوجيهية المتعلقة بإعداد القضايا وعرضها على المحكمة.

37. The Committee on Rules and Judicial Practice will be required to keep under review the Rules of the Tribunal and their application, the Resolution on Internal Judicial Practice and the Guidelines, after they have been adopted by the Tribunal, and propose for the consideration of the Tribunal any modifications which it may consider necessary or appropriate.
٣٧ - سيتعين على اللجنة المعنية بالنظام وبالممارسات القضائية أن تبقي قيد الاستعراض نظام المحكمة وتطبيقه، والقرار المتعلق بالممارسات القضائية الداخلية والمبادئ التوجيهية، بعد اعتمادها من المحكمة، وأن تقترح أية تعديلات قد ترى أنها ضرورية أو مناسبة لكي تنظر فيها المحكمة.
