The Committee notes with regret that trafficking in women and girls has not been legally defined and has not been given the attention it deserves.
وتلاحظ اللجنة مع الأسف أن الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات ليس له تعريف قانوني ولم يحصل على الاهتمام الذي يستحقه.

32. In its resolutions 1995/25, 1996/24 and 1997/19, the Commission drew the attention of the Working Group to the problem of the traffic in women and girl children.
٢٣- وقامت لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان، في قراراتها ٥٩٩١/٥٢ و٦٩٩١/٤٢ و٧٩٩١/٩١، بتوجيه انتباه الفريق العامل إلى مشكلة الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات.

11. Invites the Fourth World Conference on Women and the Ninth United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders to consider including in their respective programmes of action the subject of the traffic in women and girl children;
١١ - تدعو المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة ومؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة التاسع لمنع الجريمة ومعاملة المجرمين الى النظر في إدراج موضوع الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات في برنامج عمل كل منهما؛

In resolution 1995/25, Governments were urged to take appropriate measures to address the problem of trafficking in women and girl children and to ensure that the victims are provided with the necessary assistance, support, legal advice, protection, treatment and rehabilitation.
فقد حثت الحكومات في القرار ٥٩٩١/٥٢ على أن تتخذ التدابير المناسبة لمعالجة مشكلة اﻹتجار بالنساء والطفلات وأن تكفل توفير ما يلزم من المساعدة والدعم والمشورة القانونية والحماية والعلاج والتأهيل للضحايا.

62. The World Conference should encourage the conclusion of intergovernmental agreements to help curb the illegal migration and trafficking in women and girl children which are the causes of many human rights violations, including racial and ethnic discrimination.
63- وينبغي أن يشجع المؤتمر العالمي إبرام اتفاقات حكومية دولية من أجل الحد من الهجرة غير الشرعية والاتجار بالنساء والطفلات باعتبارها من أسباب ارتكاب العديد من انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان، بما في ذلك التمييز العنصري والإثني.

3. Encourages Governments, relevant bodies and specialized agencies of the United Nations system, intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations to gather and share information relative to all aspects of trafficking in women and girl children to facilitate the development of anti-trafficking measures;
٣ - تشجع الحكومات، والهيئات والوكالات المتخصصة ذات الصلة التابعة لمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، والمنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية على جمع وتقاسم المعلومات المتعلقة بجميع جوانب الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات لتسهيل وضع تدابير لمناهضة هذا الاتجار؛

9. Invites the World Summit for Social Development, the Fourth World Conference on Women: Action for Equality, Development and Peace and the Ninth United Nations Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders to consider including in their respective programmes of action the subject of the traffic in women and girl children;
٩ - تدعو مؤتمر القمة العالمي للتنمية الاجتماعية، والمؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة: العمل من أجل المساواة والتنمية والسلم، والمؤتمر التاسع لمنع الجريمة ومعاملة المجرمين إلى النظر في إدراج موضوع الاتجار غير المشروع بالنساء والطفلات في برنامج عمل كل منها؛

4. Urges Governments to take appropriate measures to address the problem of trafficking in women and girl children and to ensure that the victims are provided with the necessary assistance, support, legal advice, protection, treatment and rehabilitation, and urges Governments to cooperate in this matter;
٤ - تحث الحكومات على أن تتخذ التدابير المناسبة لمعالجة مشكلة الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات وأن تكفل توفير المساعدة والدعم والمشورة القانونية والحماية والعلاج والتأهيل للضحايا، وتحث الحكومات على أن تتعاون في هذه المسألة؛

67. The issue of traffic in women and girls will receive particular attention in 1999.
٦٧ - وستمنح مسألة الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات عناية خاصة في ١٩٩٩.

The Committee requests the State party to take steps to protect women at risk of exploitation and to take stronger action to combat trading and trafficking in women and girls, including the prosecution and punishment of perpetrators and the provision of adequate support and protection to victims.
وتطلب اللجنة من الدولة الطرف أن تتخذ تدابير لحماية النساء المحتمل وقوعهن ضحية للاستغلال، وتعزز الإجراءات الرامية إلى مكافحة الاتجار بالنساء والطفلات وتهريبهن، بما في ذلك محاكمة المذنبين ومعاقبتهم، وتقديم الدعم والحماية للضحايا.
