The representative of Benin, speaking on behalf of the least developed countries, said that it was important for developing countries to participate in expert meetings. The discussions on financing the participation of experts had gone on for too long, and a solution to the problem had to be found.
26- وقال ممثل بنن، متحدثاً بالنيابة عن أقل البلدان نمواً، إن من المهم أن تشارك البلدان النامية في اجتماعات الخبراء، وإن المناقشات حول تمويل مشاركة الخبراء قد طالت كثيراً، وإنه ينبغي إيجاد حل للمشكلة.

The representative of Benin, speaking on behalf of the least developed countries, noted that the world economy was characterized by a number of disparities and that the developing countries, particularly the least developed countries, were subject to various restrictions and limitations.
21- ولاحظ ممثل بنن، متحدثاً بالنيابة عن أقل البلدان نمواً، أن الاقتصاد العالمي يتسم بعدد من أوجه التفاوت وأن البلدان النامية، لا سيما أقل البلدان نمواً، تخضع لقيود وتقييدات متنوعة.

The representative of Benin, speaking on behalf of the least developed countries, said that the Working Party should examine the proposed programme from two angles: policy analysis and technical cooperation.
