My delegation associates itself with the statements made by the representative of Indonesia on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement and by the representative of the Sudan on behalf of the Arab Group.
كما يؤيد وفد بلادي ما جاء في بيان ممثل إندونيسيا الموقر الذي أدلى به بالنيابة عن دول حركة عدم الانحياز وكذلك بيان ممثل السودان بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية.

My delegation supports the statements made by the Permanent Representative of Morocco on behalf of the Arab Group and by the Permanent Representative of Cuba on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement.
إن وفد بلادي يؤيد البيان الذي ألقاه الممثل الدائم للمغرب لدى الأمم المتحدة بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية. كما يؤيد البيان الذي ألقاه الممثل الدائم لكوبا بالنيابة عن حركة عدم الانحياز.

Finally, on behalf of the Arab Group and other countries sponsoring the draft resolution in its parts A and B, I would like to urge all delegations to vote in favour of this document in both its parts, since it is moderate and balanced and reflects well-grounded legal and political positions.
أخيرا أود، بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية وعن الدول مقدمة مشروع القرار في جزأيه ألف وباء، أن أحث كافة الوفود على التصويت لصالح الوثيقة، في شقيها، نظراً لاتسامها بالاعتدال والتوازن، ولكونها تعكس مواقف قانونية وسياسية توافق الرأي الدولي عليها.

Before setting out the areas my delegation will address in this statement, I should like to associate myself with the statements delivered by the representatives of Indonesia on behalf by the NonAligned Movement; of Nigeria on behalf of the African Group; and of Qatar on behalf of the Arab Group.
وقبل أن أحدد المجالات التي سيتناولها وفد بلادي في هذا البيان، أود أن أؤيد البيانات التي أدلى بها ممثل إندونيسيا بالنيابة عن حركة عدم الانحياز؛ وممثل نيجيريا بالنيابة عن المجموعة الأفريقية؛ وممثل قطر بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية.

At the 10th meeting of the session, on 26 May, the Governing Council had before it a draft decision on this subject (UNEP/GC.18/L.58), submitted by the Syrian Arab Republic on behalf of the Arab Group.

Mr. Aly (Egypt): I wish to associate myself with the statements made earlier under the nuclear weapons cluster by the representative of Indonesia on behalf of the Non-Aligned Movement and by the representative of Lebanon on behalf of the Arab Group.

On 21 July, the Security Council held an open debate on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question, in response to a request by Kuwait, on behalf of the Arab Group (S/2005/469), for an immediate meeting of the Council to consider recent developments in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem.
في 21 تموز/يوليه، عقد مجلس الأمن مناقشة مفتوحة بشأن الحالة في الشرق الأوسط، بما في ذلك قضية فلسطين، استجابة إلى طلب مقدم من الكويت، بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية (S/2005/469)، لطلب عقد اجتماع فوري للمجلس للنظر في التطورات الأخيرة في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية.

Given the intense negotiations and the enormous concessions we made during the past few months in order to reach consensus on this very important draft resolution, draft resolution I of document A/64/439/Add.1, my delegation once again learns with regret that Iraq on behalf of the Arab Group has proposed an oral amendment to operative paragraph 10 of the draft resolution.
على الرغم من المفاوضات المكثفة والتنازلات الكبيرة التي قدمناها في الأشهر القليلة الماضية للتوصل إلى توافق في الآراء بشأن مشروع القرار الهام جدا هذا، مشروع القرار الأول الوارد في الوثيقة A/64/439/Add.1، يتناهى إلى علم وفدي مرة أخرى، مع الأسف، أن العراق بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية يقترح تعديلا شفويا على الفقرة 10 من منطوق مشروع القرار.

43. Mr. Salam (Lebanon), speaking on behalf of the Arab Group, said that the global economic crisis was threatening to reverse years of economic growth in developing countries and was putting the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals, at risk.
43 - السيد سلام (لبنان): تكلم بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية فقال إن الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية تهدد بأن تعكس للوراء سنوات النمو الاقتصادي في البلدان النامية وهي تضع الآن الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دولياً، بما في ذلك الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية في موضع الخطر.

54. Mr. Salam (Lebanon), speaking on behalf of the Arab Group and referring to its working paper (NPT/CONF.2010/WP.30), said that by granting nonnuclear-weapon States the inalienable right to benefit from the peaceful uses of nuclear technology, the Non-Proliferation Treaty had struck a balance that had motivated many countries to accede to it.
54 - السيد سلام (لبنان): تكلم بالنيابة عن المجموعة العربية وأشار إلى ورقة العمل التي قدمتها (NPT/CONF.2010/WP.30)، فقال إن معاهدة عدم الانتشار قد حققت توازنا دفع الكثير من البلدان إلى الانضمام إليها وذلك بمنح الدول غير الحائزة للأسلحة النووية الحق غير القابل في التصرف في الاستفادة من الاستخدامات السلمية للتكنولوجيا النووية.

Mr. Zoubi (Jordan): I have the honour to introduce, on behalf of the Arab Group and the sponsors listed in document A/ES-10/L.18, as amended in document A/ES-10/L.18/Rev.1 in its provisional form, a draft resolution entitled " Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Legal Consequences of the Construction of a Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem " .
