The Committee commends the State party for its political will and its commitment, expressed during the oral presentation and constructive dialogue, to achieving de facto equality for all women and the full implementation of the provisions of the Convention, and to addressing the emerging and ongoing challenges facing women in the State party.

The Committee requests the State party, in its next periodic report, to include such data, disaggregated by urban and rural area and by ethnicity, and to indicate the effects of the measures taken and the results obtained in terms of the practical realization of de facto equality between women and men.

The Committee is concerned that no temporary special measures have been utilized by the State party as a matter of general policy to accelerate the achievement of de facto equality between women and men in all areas of the Convention and to improve the implementation of women's rights, in particular with regard to women in the workplace and the participation of women in politics.

19. The Committee recommends that the State party continue to introduce temporary special measures in line with general recommendation No. 25, inter alia, in the field of employment and political participation of women, to accelerate the achievement of substantive equality between men and women.

14. The Committee welcomes the measures taken to promote women's political participation. It is concerned, however, that no other temporary special measure has been introduced or is being planned as part of a necessary strategy to accelerate the achievement of substantive equality of women with men in areas where women are underrepresented or disadvantaged.
14 - ترحب اللجنة بالتدابير المتخذة لتعزيز المشاركة السياسية للمرأة، بيد أنها تعرب عن القلق إزاء عدم وضع أي تدابير خاصة مؤقتة أخرى أو يجري تخطيطها بوصفها جزءا من استراتيجية ضرورية للتعجيل بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية بين المرأة والرجل في المجالات التي تكون فيها المرأة غير ممثَّـلة بالقدر الكافي أو محرومة.

569. The Committee commends the State party for its political will and its commitment, expressed during the oral presentation and constructive dialogue, to achieving de facto equality for all women and the full implementation of the provisions of the Convention, and to addressing the emerging and ongoing challenges facing women in the State party.
569 - تثني اللجنة على الدولة الطرف لما أعلنته أثناء العرض الشفوي والحوار البنّاء بشأن توافر إرادتها السياسية والتزامها السياسي فيما يتعلق بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية لجميع النساء والتنفيذ الكامل لأحكام الاتفاقية، وبتذليل ما يواجه المرأة في الدولة الطرف من تحديات ناشئة وأخرى قائمة.

Consequently, if such conditions exist, the adoption of positive measures in favour of women with a view to accelerate the attainment of effective equality between men and women is not contrary to the Constitution " (Judgements Nos. 1917-1929/1998 and 1933/1998).
وتبعاً لذلك، وإذا وُجِدت تلك الظروف، فإن اعتماد تدابير إيجابية لفائدة النساء بغية التعجيل بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية بينهن والرجال لا يعتبر مخالفاً للدستور " (الأحكام أرقام 1917-1929/1998 و1933/1998).

31. The Committee urges the State party to take a holistic approach to eliminating the multiple and intersecting forms of discrimination that Roma women face and to accelerate their achievement of de facto equality through the effective coordination of all entities working on Roma, non-discrimination and gender equality issues.
31 - تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على اتخاذ نهج شامل لإزالة أشكال التمييز المتعددة والمتداخلة التي تواجهها نساء الغجر والإسراع بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية من خلال التنسيق الفعال بين جميع الكيانات المعنية بالغجر، ومسائل عدم التمييز والمساواة بين الجنسين.

In this regard, the Committee is concerned that the State party has declared that the use of temporary special measures is not an adequate tool to effectively accelerate the realization of substantive equality between men and women although legislation allows for their use.
وفي هذا الصدد، تعرب اللجنة عن قلقها لأن الدولة الطرف أعلنت أن استخدام التدابير الخاصة المؤقتة ليست أداة مناسبة للتعجيل بشكل فعال بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية بين الرجل والمرأة على الرغم من أن القانون يسمح باستخدامها.

15. The Committee notes that there are no affirmative action measures to speed up the de facto equality of persons with disabilities nor any mechanisms for reparation if they suffer discrimination.
15- وتلاحظ اللجنة عدم وجود تدابير إيجابية للإسراع بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية لذوي الإعاقة مع غيرهم، وعدم وجود آليات جبْر في حالات التمييز ضدهم.

4. Measures which are necessary to accelerate or achieve de facto equality of persons with disabilities shall not be considered discrimination on the basis of disability.
4 - لا تعتبر التدابير اللازمة للتعجيل بتحقيق المساواة الفعلية للمعوقين أو تحقيقها تمييزا على أساس الإعاقة.
