Acknowledging the importance of the matter, the Human Rights Council mandated the Advisory Committee to undertake a separate study on ways and means to further advance the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas.
وعمد مجلس حقوق الإنسان، مقرّاً بأهمية هذه المسألة، إلى تكليف اللجنة الاستشارية بإجراء دراسة منفصلة عن سُبل ووسائل تعزيز النهوض بحقوق الفلاحين وغيرهم من العاملين في المناطق الريفية.

13- وتولت بوليفيا رئاسة الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي المعني بإعلان الأمم المتحدة المتعلق بحقوق الفلاحين وغيرهم من العاملين في المناطق الريفية.

The Declaration offers an interesting basis for the recognition of the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas, elaborated by an organization that brings together 148 organizations in 69 countries and is estimated to represent more than 200 millions peasants, smallholder farmers, agricultural workers, indigenous people, peasant women and landless people worldwide.
ويوفر الإعلان أساساً مهماً للاعتراف بحقوق الفلاحين وغيرهم من العاملين في المناطق الريفية. وقد أعدته مؤسسة تتألف من 148 منظمة في 69 بلداً، وهي تمثل ما يقدر ﺑ 200 مليون فلاح ومزارع صغير وعامل زراعي ومنتم للشعوب الأصلية وفلاّحات وأشخاص بلا أرض في أنحاء العالم قاطبة.
