Israel should respect the fourth Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.
وينبغي ﻹسرائيل أن تحترم اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب.

They all affirmed that the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War was applicable to the Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967, including Jerusalem.
وقد أكدت جميع هذه القرارات انطباق اتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب على اﻷراضي الفسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس، واﻷراضي العربية اﻷخرى التي تحتلها إسرائيل منذ عام ٧٦٩١.

The Assembly has also stressed that such Israeli actions are in clear violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949.
وأكدت الجمعية على أن هذه اﻹجراءات اﻹسرائيلية تنتهك انتهاكا واضحا اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب المؤرخة ١٢ آب/اغسطس ١٩٤٩.

The Assembly would further reaffirm the applicability of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 1949 and the Hague Regulations of 1907 to the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem, and all other Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967.
وتؤكد الجمعية العامة من جديد أيضا انطباق اتفاقية جنيف لعام ١٩٤٩ المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب وأحكام اتفاقية لاهاي لعام ١٩٠٧ على اﻷراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس، وسائر اﻷراضي العربية اﻷخرى التي تحتلها إسرائيل منذ ١٩٦٧.

His delegation wished to remind Israel that, under the 1949 Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, and in accordance with the relevant United Nations resolutions, Israel was obligated to guarantee the basic human rights of the people under its occupation.
وأعرب عن رغبة وفد بلده في أن يذكر إسرائيل بأنها ملزمة، بموجب اتفاقية جنيف لعام ١٩٤٩ المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب، ووفقا لقرارات اﻷمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، بكفالة حقوق اﻹنسان اﻷساسية للشعب في اﻷراضي التي تحتلها.

1. Reaffirms that the installation of Israeli civilians in the occupied territories is illegal and constitutes a violation of the relevant provisions of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949;
١- تؤكد من جديد أن توطين مدنيين اسرائيليين في اﻷراضي المحتلة أمر غير شرعي ويشكل انتهاكاً لﻷحكام ذات الصلة من اتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب، المؤرخة في ٢١ آب/أغسطس ٩٤٩١؛

1. Reaffirms that the installation of Israeli civilians in the occupied territories is illegal and constitutes a violation of the relevant provisions of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949;
١ ـ تؤكد من جديد أن توطين المدنيين الاسرائيليين في اﻷراضي المحتلة غير قانوني ويشكل انتهاكا لﻷحكام ذات الصلة من اتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب المؤرخة في ٢١ آب/أغسطس ٩٤٩١؛

That policy ran counter to important international legal instruments, particularly to paragraph 8 of the Plan of Action for the Full Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, contained in the annex to General Assembly resolution 35/118, and to the Fourth Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949.
وتتعارض هذه السياسة مع صكوك قانونية دولية هامة ولا سيما الفقرة ٨ من خطة العمل للتطبيق الشامل ﻹعلان منح الاستقلال للبلدان والشعوب المستعمرة الواردة في مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٥/١١٨ وكذلك في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب المؤرخة ١٢ آب/اغسطس ١٩٤٩.

Guided by the relevant provisions of the Charter of the United Nations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and with particular reference to the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, and the relevant provisions of the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907,

" The members of the Security Council urge Israel to abide at all times by its obligations under the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, and to respect and to act in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council.
" ويحث أعضاء المجلس اسرائيل على أن تتقيد في جميع اﻷوقات بالتزاماتها وفقا لاتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب، المعقودة في ١٢ آب/أغسطس ١٩٤٩، وأن تحترم قرارات مجلس اﻷمن ذات الصلة وتتصرف طبقا لها.

132. The Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 1949, and the Additional Protocols of 1977 24/ provide that women shall especially be protected against any attack on their honour, in particular against humiliating and degrading treatment, rape, enforced prostitution or any form of indecent assault.
١٣٢ - وتنص اتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب لعام ١٩٤٩ وبروتوكولاتها الاضافية لعام ١٩٧٧)٢٤(، على حماية النساء بصفة خاصة من الاعتداء على شرفهن وعلى اﻷخص من المعاملة المهينة والمذلة، والاغتصاب، والبغاء القسري أو أي نوع من الاعتداء المشين.

The Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War (Fourth Geneva Convention) relates to the protection of persons " who, at a given moment and in any manner whatsoever, find themselves, in case of a conflict or occupation, in the hands of a Party to the conflict or Occupying Power of which they are not nationals " (art. 4).
وتتناول إتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب )اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة( حماية اﻷشخاص " الذين يجدون أنفسهم في لحظة ما وبأي شكل كان، في حالة قيام نزاع أو احتلال، تحت سلطة طرف في النزاع ليسوا من رعاياه أو دولة احتلال ليسوا من رعاياها " )المادة ٤(.

٣ - يطالب بأن تمتثل إسرائيل، السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال، تماما ﻷحكام ومبادئ اﻹعلان العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان)٣٣(، واللوائح المرفقة باتفاقية لاهاي لعام ١٩٠٧)٣٤( واتفاقية جنيف المتعلقة بحماية اﻷشخاص المدنيين وقت الحرب المؤرخة ١٢ آب/أغسطس ١٩٤٩)٣٥( بهدف حماية حقوق المرأة الفلسطينية وأسرتها؛
