It also applies to situations of belligerent occupation. Israel is a party to the four Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, but has not ratified their Additional Protocols I or II on the protection of victims of armed conflict.
271- وإسرائيل طرف في اتفاقيات جنيف الأربع المؤرخة 12 آب/أغسطس 1949، لكنها لم تصدّق بعد على بروتوكوليها الإضافيين الأول أو الثاني المتعلقين بحماية ضحايا النزاع المسلح.

His Government hoped that the recent entry into force of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, which Turkey had ratified together with its two Additional Protocols, would give new momentum to those efforts.

Moreover, in the humanitarian law field, a number of States have acceded to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and to their Additional Protocols relating to the protection of victims of international and non-international armed conflicts.

27. The Government of Israel is a party to the four Geneva Conventions of 1949, but it has not acceded to their Additional Protocols I and II. The PLO submitted a declaration on 21 June 1989 to the Government of Switzerland to the effect that it considers itself bound by the Geneva Conventions of 1949.
27 - حكومة إسرائيل طرف في اتفاقيات جنيف الأربع لعام 1949، لكنها لم تنضم إلى بروتوكوليها الإضافيين الأول والثاني. وقدمت منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية بيانا في 21 حزيران/يونيه 1989 إلى حكومة سويسرا مؤداه أنها تعتبر نفسها ملزَمة بأحكام اتفاقيات جنيف لعام 1949.

42. Mr. Samy (Egypt) said that the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols constituted an effective means of applying international humanitarian law. Egypt had established a national commission on international humanitarian law, made up of all ministerial bodies in its Government, to strengthen awareness of international humanitarian law within the Government and among the public at large.

The Republic of Albania has ratified the European Convention " On Extradition " , and its two Additional Protocols.
لقد صدَّقت جمهورية ألبانيا على الاتفاقية الأوروبية " المتعلقة بتسليم المجرمين " وعلى بروتوكوليها الإضافيين.

Slovakia further indicated that the broader scope of cooperation was provided to other member States on the basis of the European Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters and its two Additional Protocols and the Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime.
وذكرت سلوفاكيا كذلك أنها تتيح نطاقا أوسع من التعاون لدول أطراف أخرى استنادا إلى الاتفاقية الأوروبية بشأن المساعدة القانونية المتبادلة في المسائل الجنائية وإلى بروتوكوليها الإضافيين وإلى الاتفاقية المتعلقة بغسل عائدات الجريمة وكشفها وضبطها ومصادرتها.

Slovakia indicated that a broader scope of cooperation was provided to some Member States on the basis of the European Convention on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters and its two Additional Protocols and the Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime.
وذكرت سلوفاكيا كذلك أنها تتيح نطاقا أوسع من التعاون لبعض الدول الأطراف استنادا إلى الاتفاقية الأوروبية بشأن المساعدة القانونية المتبادلة في المسائل الجنائية وإلى بروتوكوليها الإضافيين وإلى الاتفاقية المتعلقة بغسل عائدات الجريمة وكشفها وضبطها ومصادرتها.

51. The task of seeing to the implementation and development of international humanitarian law fell to ICRC. The Committee is a non-governmental organization which States parties to the Geneva Conventions and to the Protocols additional thereto have entrusted with the special responsibility of monitoring, investigating and protecting victims of armed conflicts.
٥١ - وقد أسندت مهمة الحرص على تطبيق القانون اﻹنساني الدولي وتطويره إلى لجنة الصليب اﻷحمر الدولية، وهي منظمة غير حكومية منحتها الدول اﻷطراف في اتفاقيات جنيف وفي بروتوكوليها اﻹضافيين صلاحيات خاصة في المراقبة والتحقيق وحماية ضحايا الصراعات المسلحة.
