38. The Group of 77 saw the lack of progress in the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol by the developed countries as a vivid manifestation of their unwillingness to fulfil their commitments under the Convention.
38- واستطرد قائلا ان مجموعة الـ77 ترى في عدم احراز تقدم في التصديق على بروتوكول كيوتو من البلدان المتقدمة النمو دليلا واضحا على عدم رغبتها في تحقيق التزاماتها بمقتضى الاتفاقية.

We oppose any intention of modifying the balance of rights and obligations established in the Kyoto Protocol in respect of the mitigation commitments.
ونعارض أي نوايا بتعديل ما ينطوي عليه بروتوكول كيوتو من توازن بين حقوق وواجبات تتصل بالتزامات تقليص الانبعاثات.
