In the fourth case, a Belgian couple reportedly disappeared on 21 May 1994 near the Thai border opposite Cambodia's northern Preah Vihear province.

" The Court however considers that Thailand in 1908-1909 did accept the Annex I map as representing the outcome of the work of delimitation, and hence recognized the line on that map as being the frontier line, the effect of which is to situate Preah Vihear in Cambodian territory.

In 1962, the International Court of Justice adjudicated that the Temple of Preah Vihear was within Cambodia's territory based on a map (the Dangrek map of annex I, attached herewith; see annex).

As is well known, error has been the subject of consideration by the international tribunals, particularly the Permanent Court of International Justice and the International Court of Justice, in several cases, such as the Eastern Greenland, Temple of Preah Vihear and Mavrommatis cases, to name a few.

:: أدرج بالإجماع معبد بريه فيهير في كمبوديا على قائمة معالم التراث العالمي خلال الدورة الثانية والثلاثين للجنة التراث العالمي التابعة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو)، في مدينة كيبيك، كندا، في 7 تموز/يوليه 2008.

:: Taking into account the above decision of the International Court of Justice, the only map which legally delimits the border in the area of the Temple of Preah Vihear is the " Annex I map " (see annex II), based on which the Court made its judgment.
