2- وإنني أوافق على أنه يجب على اللجنة، بالنظر إلى عدم قيام الدولة الطرف بتقديم أية تفسيرات بشأن الأساس الموضوعي للشكوى، أن تولي ما ينبغي من الاعتبار للادعاءات المقدمة من أصحاب البلاغ.

6.2 In conclusion, the State party submits that the Committee should render its views on the merits of the communication based on the same submissions that have been made on admissibility.

4.5 In a note verbale dated 21 September 2001, the State party presents its observations on the merits, which it considers relate to the issue of whether there was discrimination between citizens depending on whether their property was located in Portuguese territory or in territory under Portuguese administration.
4-5 وقدمت الدولة الطرف ملاحظاتها في مذكرتها الشفوية المؤرخة 21 أيلول/سبتمبر 2001 بشأن الأساس الموضوعي المتعلق، في نظرها، بمسألة إمكان ممارسة تمييز بين المواطنين بحسب مكان وجود ممتلكاتهم: في الإقليم الوطني أو في إقليم تديره البرتغال.

2.12 When the author's participation in the experiment was discontinued, the author's lawyer complained to the Vilnius First District Court, requesting that the Vilnius University Santariskes Hospital administration reinstate the author's participation in the clinical trial and that it take temporary precautionary measures, i.e., continuing the experimental treatment, pending a decision on the merits of the case.
