His delegation also strongly supported the recommendation of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance to convene a world conference on racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia without delay.

65. His delegation noted the detailed information contained in the report of the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, as well as the measures taken and the progress made by the United Nations in combating those phenomena.
٦٥ - وقال إن وفد بلده يلاحظ المعلومات التفصيلية الواردة في تقرير المقرر الخاص بشأن اﻷشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية اﻷجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وكذلك التدابير المتخذة والتقدم الذي أحرزته اﻷمم المتحدة في مكافحة تلك الظواهر.

45. With regard to paragraph 3 of that resolution, the State of Kuwait wishes to reaffirm its full cooperation with the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.
٤٥ - وفيما يتعلق بالفقرة ٣ من القرار، تؤكد دولة الكويت تعاونها الكامل مع المقرر الخاص للجنة حقوق اﻹنسان بشأن اﻷشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره اﻷجانب والتعصب ذي الصلة.

In that connection, his Government wished to acknowledge the important contribution of the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination , xenophobia and related intolerance, especially in view of the severe financial limitations under which he had been working.

11. During the summer of 1994 we submitted to the Special Rapporteur two volumes of research on contemporary forms of anti-Semitism, and in the fall of 1994 welcomed the opportunity of discussing the issue with the Special Rapporteur at great length.
١١- وفي صيف عام ٤٩٩١، قدم مجلس تنسيق المنظمات اليهودية الى المقرر الخاص بحثين بشأن اﻷشكال المعاصرة لمعاداة السامية، وسنحت له الفرصة في خريف نفس العام لمناقشة هذه المشكلة معه بعمق.

Moreover, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, with the participation of the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, had met in August 1995 to discuss ways to strengthen their activities.
وذكر أن لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري، واللجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات، مع مشاركة المقرر الخاص بشأن اﻷشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية، والتمييز العنصري، وكره اﻷجانب والتعصب ذي الصلة، اجتمعتا في آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٥ لمناقشة وسائل زيادة أنشطتهما.

In order to enhance the protection of minorities, contacts should be established between the inter-sessional group on minorities of the Subcommission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism.
٣٣ - ومضى يقول إنه بغية تعزيز حماية اﻷقليات، ينبغي إقامة اتصالات بين الفريق العامل بين الدورات والمعني باﻷقليات والتابع للجنة الفرعية لمنع التمييز وحماية اﻷقليات، واللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز العنصري، والمقرر الخاص بشأن اﻷشكال المعاصرة للعنصرية.
