Regarding the implementation of the Optional Protocol to CAT, Benin approved the establishment of national mechanisms on the prevention of torture in December 2006, and in July 2007, a national seminar was held on the implementation of the Optional Protocol.
29- وفيما يتعلق بتنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب، قال الوفد إن بنن قد وافقت، في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006، على إنشاء آليات وطنية لمنع التعذيب، وفي تموز/يوليه 2007، عقدت حلقة دراسية وطنية بشأن تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري.

With regard to monitoring of an optional protocol by the Committee: the Committee supports the proposal that States parties to the optional protocol should submit an initial report separately and that subsequent reporting on the implementation of the Optional Protocol should be part of each State's regular reporting on implementation of the Convention.
وفيما يتعلق بقيام اللجنة برصد البروتوكول الاختياري، تعرب اللجنة عن تأييدها للاقتراح الذي يدعو إلى قيام الدول الأطراف في البروتوكول الاختياري بتقديم تقرير أولي منفصل على أن تكون التقارير اللاحقة بشأن تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري جزءاً من التقارير التي تقدمها كل دولة بصورة منتظمة بشأن تنفيذ الاتفاقية.

11. The Chair briefed the Committee on his participation at an expert seminar organized by OHCHR on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.

The concluding observations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child on the implementation of the Optional Protocol on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography indicate that, in more than half of the countries reviewed, the legislation on child prostitution needs to be amended, including to ensure the protection of boys.
وتشير الملاحظات الختامية للجنة حقوق الطفل بشأن تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري المتعلق ببيع الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في البغاء وفي الموارد الإباحية إلى أن التشريعات المتعلقة باستغلال الأطفال في البغاء، في أكثر من نصف البلدان التي خضعت للاستعراض، تحتاج إلى تعديل، لغايات منها كفالة حماية الأولاد.

26. In accordance with article 8, paragraph 2, the Committee requests the State party to include further information on the implementation of the Optional Protocol in its next periodic report under the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
26- وفقاً للفقرة 2 من المادة 8، تطلب اللجنة إلى الدولة الطرف أن تُضمِّن تقريرها الدوري المقبل الذي ستقدمه بموجب اتفاقية حقوق الطفل المزيد من المعلومات بشأن تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري.

The Committee notes that the State party report did not provide information on the implementation of the Optional Protocol in all parts of the Kingdom, in particular Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.

An invitation to participate in a workshop on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture in October 2005 was received from the Government of Mexico.
وقد وردت دعوة من حكومة المكسيك للمشاركة في حلقة عمل بشأن تنفيذ البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2005.

A workshop was conducted on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention Against Torture in October 2010, in collaboration with the Danish NGO Rehabilitation and Research Centre for Torture Victims.

34. IRC cooperates closely with the Committee on the Rights of the Child, which is regularly associated with expert discussions and research initiatives promoted by and with the Centre, including IRC research on the implementation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.

Her Government had submitted to the Committee on the Rights of the Child its second report on the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child as well as its first report on the implementation of the Optional Protocol on the Sale of Children, Child Prostitution and Child Pornography.
