143. In the light of article 12 of the Convention, and drawing the State party's attention to the Committee's recommendations adopted on its day of general discussion on the right of the child to be heard, held on 15 September 2006, the Committee recommends that the State party:

33. The Committee draws the State party's attention to its general comment No. 12 (2009) on the right of the child to be heard, and recommends that the State take measures to strengthen respect for the views of the child in accordance with article 12 of the Convention.
33- توجّه اللجنة انتباه الدولة الطرف إلى تعليقها العام رقم 12(2009) بشأن حق الطفل في أن تُسمع آراؤه، وتوصي بأن تتخذ الدولة الطرف تدابير لتعزيز احترام آراء الطفل عملاً بالمادة 12 من الاتفاقية.

The Committee also recommends to the State party that it launch an information campaign, particularly at the local level, on the child's right to identity at birth and on growing up in a family.
