In order to keep itself abreast of the current debate, as well as policies and practices on ethics issues beyond the United Nations, the Ethics Office participates in professional associations and attended professional or specialized conferences, such as those organized by the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association, the Conference of Governmental Ethics Laws and the Conference of International Investigators during the reporting period.
