1. The broadening to criteria for the United Nations Voluntary Fund for Indigenous Peoples and other funding agencies to take into account youth above and not at the expense of other participants for determining support and participation in the United Nations activities.

The guidelines for applications for project grants to the United Nations Voluntary Fund for the International Decade of the World's Indigenous People state that " projects will be considered taking into account gender balance " .
وتنص المبادئ التوجيهية للطلبات الخاصة بمنح المشاريع المتعلقة بصندوق الأمم المتحدة للتبرعات الخاص بالعقد الدولي للسكان الأصليين في العالم على " أن المشاريع سيُنظر فيها من زاوية مراعاة التوازن الجنساني " .

With respect to the United Nations Voluntary Fund on Disability, the Syrian Arab Republic noted the importance of using the Fund's resources to support activities from civil society organizations in the least developed and developing countries, while the Philippines highlighted the potential of using the Fund to assist countries in fulfilling their commitments under the World Programme of Action. 59 - وفيما يتعلق بصندوق الأمم المتحدة للتبرعات لحالات العجز، أشارت الجمهورية العربية السورية إلى أهمية استخدام موارد الصندوق لدعم أنشطة منظمات المجتمع المدني في أقل البلدان نمواً والبلدان النامية، في حين أبرزت الفلبين إمكانية استخدام الصندوق لمساعدة البلدان على الوفاء بالتزاماتها المنوطة بها بموجب برنامج العمل العالمي.
