67. The General Assembly, by its resolution 53/29 of 20 November 1998, appropriated an amount of $22 million gross for the establishment and operation of the Observer Mission for the period of 13 July 1998 to 30 June 1999.

The report includes the financial performance report of ONUSAL for the period from 1 June to 30 November 1994 and cost estimates for the operation of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 December 1994 to 30 April 1995.

(b) The assessment of an additional amount of $3,207,000 gross ($2,936,100 net) for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 February to 31 May 1996;

(c) The appropriation and assessment of an amount of $1,603,500 gross ($1,468,000 net) for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 to 30 June 1996, subject to a decision of the Security Council to extend the mandate of UNOMIL beyond 31 May 1996.

8. Decides also that the apportionment for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 November 1996 in the amount of 5,840,000 dollars gross (5,494,500 dollars net) will be made at a later date following the review of the performance report of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 July 1995 to 30 June 1996;

8. Decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the United Nations Observer Mission in Liberia the amount of 9,773,600 dollars gross (9,608,200 dollars net), for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 January to 31 January 1996;
٨ - تقرر أن تعتمـد للحسـاب الخـاص لبعثـة مراقبـي اﻷمـم المتحدة في ليبريا مبلغا إجماليه ٠٠٦ ٣٧٧ ٩ دولار )صافيه ٠٠٢ ٨٠٦ ٩ دولار(، لمواصلة بعثة المراقبين للفترة من ١ كانون الثاني/يناير إلى ١٣ كانون الثاني/يناير ٦٩٩١؛

5. The Advisory Committee recalls that, by its resolution 51/3 of 17 October 1996, the General Assembly appropriated the amount of $14,016,000 gross ($13,186,800 net) for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 June 1997, inclusive of the amount of $791,800 for the support account for peacekeeping operations.

The present report includes the financial performance report of the United Nations Observer Mission in El Salvador (ONUSAL) for the period from 1 June to 30 November 1994 and cost estimates for the operation of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 December 1994 to 30 April 1995.

(b) The appropriation of the amount of $3,695,200 gross ($3,442,200 net) for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 14 April to 30 June 1995 previously authorized and assessed under resolution 49/232;

Costs for stationery and office supplies during the liquidation of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 to 31 May 1995 ($1,000), for which no provisions were made, were also included.

8. Decides to appropriate to the Special Account for the United Nations Observer Mission in Liberia the amount of 9,773,600 dollars gross (9,608,200 dollars net), for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 January to 31 January 1996;

8. Column 1 of annex I to the present report sets out in detail the resources approved by the General Assembly in its resolution 52/8, which amount to $155,000,000 gross ($150,371,600 net) for the operation of the Observer Mission for the period from 1 July 1997 to 30 June 1998.

(a) The appropriation of the amount of $17,548,300 gross ($16,887,800 net) for the maintenance of the Observer Mission for the period from 22 April to 22 October 1994;

28. As indicated in paragraph 8 (d) of the addendum to his report, the Secretary-General requests the appropriation of the amount of $4,935,870 gross ($4,712,580 net), or $1,828,100 gross ($1,745,400 net) per month, for the maintenance of UNOMIL for the period from 23 October 1994 to 13 January 1995.
٢٨ - وعلى النحو المبيﱠن في الفقرة ٨ )د( من الاضافة لتقريره، يطلب اﻷمين العام اعتماد مبلغ اجماليه ٨٧٠ ٩٣٥ ٤ دولار )صافيه ٥٨٠ ٧١٢ ٤ دولار( أو مبلغ اجماليه ١٠٠ ٨٢٨ ١ دولار )صافيه ٤٠٠ ٧٤٥ ١ دولار( شهريا للابقاء على بعثة المراقبين للفترة من ٢٣ تشرين اﻷول/اكتوبر إلى ١٣ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٥.

2. The General Assembly, in its resolution 51/3 of 17 October 1996, appropriated the amount of $14,016,000 gross ($13,186,800 net) for the maintenance of UNOMIL for the period from 1 July 1996 to 30 June 1997, inclusive of the amount of $791,800 for the support account for peacekeeping operations.
٢ - رصدت الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٥١/٣ المؤرخ ١٧ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٦ مبلغا إجماليه ٠٠٠ ٠١٦ ١٤ دولار )صافيه ٨٠٠ ١٨٦ ١٣ دولار( لﻹبقاء على بعثة المراقبين للفترة من ١ تموز/يوليه ١٩٩٦ إلى ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٧، بما في ذلك مبلغ ٨٠٠ ٧٩١ دولار لحساب دعم عمليات حفظ السلام.

8. The financial performance report for the period from 16 May 1995 to 12 January 1996 therefore takes into account the proportionate share ($164,800) of the additional requirements for the establishment of the office of the Deputy Special Envoy and Head of UNOMIG for the period from 1 October 1995 to 12 January 1996.
