Reaffirming its resolution ES10/15 of 20 July 2004 entitled " Advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Legal Consequences of the Construction of a Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem " ,
وإذ تعيد تأكيد قرارها دإط - 10/15 المؤرخ 20 تموز/يوليه 2004 المعنون ”فتوى محكمة العدل الدولية بشأن الآثار القانونية الناشئة عن تشييد جدار في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية وحولها“،

The establishment of such a register will be an important step forward, as it will undoubtedly mark an important turning point in the implementation of the 9 July 2004 advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, regarding the legal consequences of the construction of a wall in the occupied Palestinian territory, including in and around East Jerusalem.
وسيكون إنشاء هذا السجل خطوة هامة إلى الأمام، لكونه سيشكل منعطفا هاما في تنفيذ فتوى محكمة العدل الدولية المؤرخة 9 تموز/يوليه 2004 بشأن الآثار القانونية الناشئة عن تشييد جدار على الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية وحولها.

That advisory opinion constituted a comprehensive determination of the applicable rules and principles of international law, including international humanitarian law and human rights law, and of the legal obligations arising from the breach of that law by Israel, the occupying Power, as a result of its construction of a wall in the occupied Palestinian territory, including in and around East Jerusalem.
وقد شكلت تلك الفتوى إصرارا شاملا على قواعد القانون الدولي ومبادئه القابلة للتطبيق، بما فيها القانون الإنساني الدولي وقانون حقوق الإنسان، وعلى الالتزامات القانونية الناجمة عن انتهاك ذلك القانون من جانب إسرائيل، الدولة القائمة بالاحتلال، نتيجة تشييدها جدارا في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية وحولها.

Mr. Seck (Senegal) (spoke in French): My delegation would like to thank Secretary-General Kofi Annan for his outstanding and timely report (A/ES10/361), which provides the relevant institutional framework for the establishment of a register of damage to all natural or legal persons concerned caused by the construction by Israel, the occupying Power, of the wall in occupied Palestinian territory, including in and around East Jerusalem.
السيد سيك (السنغال) (تكلم بالفرنسية): يود وفد بلادي أن يشكر الأمين العام كوفي عنان على تقريره المتميز والجيد التوقيت (A/ES-10/361)، والذي يوفر الإطار المؤسسي المناسب لإنشاء سجل للأضرار التي لحقت بجميع الأشخاص الطبيعيين أو الاعتباريين المعنيين جراء تشييد إسرائيل، السلطة القائمة بالاحتلال، للجدار على الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة بما فيها القدس الشرقية وحولها.

1. Reaffirms its resolution ES10/15 entitled " Advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice on the Legal Consequences of the Construction of a Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem " , and reiterates the demands made therein, inter alia, the demand that Israel, the occupying Power, comply with its legal obligations as mentioned in the advisory opinion;
