255. Accordingly, under the Fund's Regulations currently in effect, payment of a periodic benefit is suspended under article 40 when (a) the former participant again became a staff member commencing employment under an appointment for six months or longer, or (b) on completion of six months of service as a staff member, without an interruption of more than 30 days.
