If no associated protective measure is being proposed because IMO measures already exist, then the application should show how the Area is already being protected by such measures.
وإذا لم تُقترح تدابير حماية مرتبطة بها لأن تدابير المنظمة البحرية الدولية قائمة بالفعل، عندئذ ينبغي أن يوضح الطلب الطريقة التي تحمى بها المنطقة بالفعل بتلك التدابير.

32. The lesson learned from the 1997 economic crisis in the region is that maintaining macroeconomic stability is essential for securing economic growth and poverty alleviation.
32 - والدرس المستفاد من الأزمة الاقتصادية التي مرت بها المنطقة في عام 1997 هو أن الحفاظ على استقرار الاقتصاد الكلي هام من أجل ضمان النمو الاقتصادي والتخفيف من الفقر.

23. In addition there are the following recognized new and emerging issues as recognized by the JPOI and by the region:

Therefore, building and strengthening endogenous science and technology capabilities and infrastructure, together with improving the region's advantages in the technology transfer process, remain a priority concern.
