وفي سياق توصيات واستنتاجات هذا المنتدى نوقشت مسألة وضع إطار عام للتعاون في ميـدان التصنيــع، ولا سيمــا ما ستضطلع به اليونيدو من دور في مختلف الفعاليات التي تنظمها المنظومة، وذلك إلى جانب الترتيبات العامة المتصلة بتشكيل لجنة تنسيق معنية بالتصنيع في أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي.

In that connection, his delegation welcomed the work done by UNIDO to strengthen partnerships in support of strategies and programmes based on specific national and regional development priorities and advantages with a view to enabling small and medium-sized enterprises of developing countries to enhance their productive activities and trade capacities.
وأضاف أن وفده يرحّب في هذا الصدد بما قامت به اليونيدو لتعزيز الشراكات دعماً للاستراتيجيات والبرامج القائمة على الأولويات والمزايا الإنمائية الوطنية والإقليمية الخاصة وذلك بغرض تمكين المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة للبلدان النامية من تعزيز أنشطتها الإنتاجية وقدراتها التجارية.

She emphasized the importance of the work being done by UNIDO to support agro-industries, and encouraged it to improve its overall effort in that area, while not neglecting work in industrial sectors, including in medium- and high-technology sectors, and the need to provide support to developing countries so that they were able to reap the benefits of diversified economies.
وهي تؤكد أهمية العمل الذي تقوم به اليونيدو لدعم الصناعات الزراعية، وتشجّعها على تعزيز جهودها إجمالاً في ذلك المجال، دون إغفال القطاعات الصناعية، بما فيها قطاعات التكنولوجيا المتوسطة والمتطورة، وضرورة توفير الدعم للبلدان النامية بحيث تتمكن من جني مكاسب الاقتصادات المنوّعة.

Any action taken by UNIDO should be the result of donor community consultations and inter-agency discussions with a view to obtaining logistical support and collaboration in substantive programming and implementation activities.
ذلك أن أيّ عمل تقوم به اليونيدو ينبغي أن يكون نتاجا لمشاورات تجريها الدوائر المانحة ولمداولات مشتركة بين الوكالات بغية الحصول على الدعم الامدادي والتعاون في العمل في مجال البرمجة الموضوعية وأنشطة تنفيذ.

22. His delegation noted the significant role played by UNIDO in strengthening South-South cooperation, and hoped that developed countries would continue to support the Organization's efforts in that regard.
22- وقال إن وفد بلده يلاحظ الدور الهام الذي تضطلع به اليونيدو في تعزيز التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب. وأعرب عن أمله في أن تواصل البلدان النامية دعم جهود المنظمة في ذلك الصدد.

وسيكون تقديم موجز لما تقوم به اليونيدو من متابعة في هذا الصدد موضع تقدير من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
