In the area of financing for development, the strong commitments by world leaders at the World Summit to take action on a range of global development challenges had reinforced the broad international consensus that resolute action from developed countries on trade, aid and debt relief must be matched by improved performance and governance on the part of developing countries.
51 - وأردف قائلا إنه في مجال تمويل التنمية، نجد أن ما اضطلع به قادة العالم في مؤتمر القمة العالمي من التزامات قوية باتخاذ إجراءات بشأن مجموعة منوعة من التحديات الإنمائية العالمية عززت توافق الآراء الدولي الواسع النطاق على أن الإجراءات الحازمة من جانب البلدان المتقدمة النمو بشأن التجارة والمعونة وتخفيف الديون ينبغي أن يقابلها تحسين الأداء والحكم الرشيد من جانب البلدان النامية.
