2. Decides that in addition to paragraph 1 above, BNUB shall also continue to support the Government of Burundi in the following areas:

Burundi also facilitated the transportation of some 15,000 Congolese voters living in Burundi to South Kivu to participate in the elections.
ويسرت بوروندي أيضا نقل حوالي 000 15 ناخب كونغولي يعيشون في بوروندي إلى كيفو الجنوبية للمشاركة في الانتخابات.

The President of Burundi also confirmed to the High Commissioner that there would be no amnesty for major crimes committed during the conflict.
وأكّد رئيس بوروندي أيضا للمفوضة السامية أنه لن يتم منح عفو عن الجرائم الجسيمة المرتكبة أثناء الصراع.

37. During the period under review, the human rights situation in Burundi also attracted the attention of the international community.
٣٧ - وخلال الفترة المشمولة بالاستعراض، لفتت حالة حقوق الإنسان في بوروندي أيضا انتباه المجتمع الدولي.

The Government of Burundi also issued a statement condemning the grenade attacks and indicating its commitment to investigate the attacks and protect the population.
وأصدرت حكومة بوروندي أيضا بيانا أدانت فيه الهجمات بالقنابل اليدوية وأشارت فيه إلى التزامها بالتحقيق في الهجمات وحماية السكان.

The Government of Burundi also expresses its great appreciation to the entire international community, and to the countries of the region in particular, for the assistance, advice and facilitation provided throughout this long and painful struggle for peace.
