The General Assembly, as recommended by the Fifth Committee in paragraph 3 of its report (A/68/562/Add.1), appointed Ms. Maria Gracia Pulido Tan (Philippines) as a member of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014.

At its 71st plenary meeting, on 20 December 2013, the General Assembly, on the recommendation of the Fifth Committee, appointed Ms. Maria Gracia Pulido Tan as a member of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014.
وعينت الجمعية العامة، في جلستها العامة 71، المعقودة في 20 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013، بناء على توصية اللجنة الخامسة()، السيدة ماريا غارسيا بوليدو تان عضوا في اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014.

By that note, the Fifth Committee was informed of the nomination by the Government of the Philippines and the endorsement by the Group of Asia-Pacific States of Maria Gracia Pulido Tan (Philippines) to fill the vacancy in the Independent Audit Advisory Committee.
وأُبلغت اللجنة الخامسة في تلك المذكرة بأن حكومة الفلبين، بتأييد من مجموعة دول آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، ترشح ماريا غارسيا بوليدو تان (الفلبين) لملء المقعد الشاغر في اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة.

3. The Fifth Committee recommends that the General Assembly appoint Maria Gracia Pulido Tan (Philippines) as a member of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014.
3 - توصي اللجنة الخامسة الجمعية العامة بتعيين ماريا غارسيا بوليدو تان (الفلبين) عضوا في اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014.

The Secretary-General also informed the Assembly that the Government of the Philippines had nominated Ms. Pulido Tan to fill one vacancy in the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014 and that the Group of Asia-Pacific States had endorsed her candidature.
وقال إن الأمين العام أبلغ الجمعية العامة بأن حكومة الفلبين رشحت السيدة بوليدو تان لشغل مقعد واحد شاغر في اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة لعضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014، وبأن مجموعة دول آسيا والمحيط الهادئ أيدت ترشيحها.

The Committee decided, by acclamation, to recommend that the General Assembly appoint Ms. Maria Gracia Pulido Tan (Philippines) as a member of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014.
قررت اللجنة، بالتزكية، أن توصي بأن تعين الجمعية العامة السيدة ماريا غراسيا بوليدو تان (الفلبين) بصفة عضو في اللجنة الاستشارية المستقلة للمراجعة لفترة عضوية مدتها ثلاث سنوات تبدأ في 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014.

As a result, the Independent Audit Advisory Committee is composed as follows: Ms. Natalia A. Bocharova (Russian Federation),** Mr. J. Christopher Mihm (United States of America),* Mr. John F. S. Muwanga (Uganda)* and Ms. Maria Gracia Pulido Tan (Philippines).**

This year saw the appointment by the General Assembly of three new members, namely, Patricia X. Arriagada Villouta (Chile), Natalia A. Bocharova (Russian Federation) and Maria Gracia M. Pulido Tan (Philippines), to replace three members whose terms had expired.
وشهد هذا العام تعيين ثلاثة أعضاء جدد من الجمعية العامة هم: باتريشيا أرياغادا فيلوتا (شيلي) وناتاليا أ. بوتشاروفا (الاتحاد الروسي)، وماريا غارسيا و م. بوليدو تان (الفلبين) ليحلوا محل الأعضاء الثلاثة الذين انتهت ولاياتهم.

2. At the same meeting, the Fifth Committee decided, by acclamation, to recommend to the General Assembly that it appoint Ms. Pulido Tan as a member of the Independent Audit Advisory Committee for a three-year term of office beginning on 1 January 2014 (see para. 3 below).
