1. Since the early 1970s, Bolivia has used Earth observation satellite data at the state level for mapping the country’s renewable and non-renewable resources through the establishment of the ERTS programme within the Geological Service of Bolivia (formerly GEOBOL).
١ - منذ أوائل السبعينات ، وبانشاء برنامج " ERTS " ضمن دائرة الجيولوجيا البوليفية ) " GEOBOL " سابقا( ، استخدمت بوليفيا بيانات سواتل رصد اﻷرض ، على مستوى الدولة ، من أجل رسم الخرائط لموارد البلاد المتجددة وغير المتجددة .

As practised today, the global access to meteorological satellite data was an initiative of the World Meteorological Organization; it was conceived to help ensure that knowledge of aerospace sciences and technologies that have evolved as a result of free access to meteorological satellite observations can, and will be, utilized by many more individuals, organizations and States, particularly developing countries.
٧٢ - الوصول العالمي الى بيانات سواتل اﻷرصاد الجوية ، حسبما يمارس اليوم ، كان مبادرة من المنظمة العالمية لﻷرصاد الجوية ؛ وهو قد صمم للمساعدة على كفالة استخدام وامكان استخدام معرفة علوم وتكنولوجيات الغلاف الجوي والفضاء الخارجي التي تطورت نتيجة للوصول المجاني الى نتائج عمليات الرصد التي تقوم بها سواتل اﻷرصاد الجوية من جانب عدد أكبر بكثير من اﻷفراد والمنظمات والدول ، ولا سيما البلدان النامية .

2. These organizations use Earth observation satellite data for various applications, including mapping and monitoring natural phenomena and their impact, disaster management, agrometeorology, agriculture, land-use planning, freshwater resource development, studies on the focus of diseases, mining exploration and census and land registration applications.
