At the third session, participants discussed examples of the use of space weather data and models.

As an effective result of such cooperation, in May 2012 the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI) successfully built a 7-meter parabolic antenna to receive space weather data from the Radiation Belt Storm Probes (RBSP) mission.
وكنتيجة فعالة لهذا التعاون، نجح المعهد الكوري لعلم الفلك وعلوم الفضاء في أيار/مايو 2012 في بناء هوائي ذي مقطع مكافئ بمقاس 7 أمتار لاستقبال بيانات طقس الفضاء من بعثة مسابير عواصف الأحزمة الإشعاعية.

Participants were selected based on their scientific background and their experience, as well as on the proposed presentation topics and their relevance to space weather data collection or analysis.

Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 66/71 and in accordance with the recommendations of UNISPACE III, the United Nations/Austria Symposium on Data Analysis and Image Processing for Space Applications and Sustainable Development: space weather data was held in Graz, Austria, from 18 to 21 September 2012.
3- وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 66/71، ووفقا لتوصية اليونيسبيس الثالث، عُقدت الندوة المشتركة بين الأمم المتحدة والنمسا حول تحليل البيانات وتجهيز الصور من أجل التطبيقات الفضائية والتنمية المستدامة: بيانات طقس الفضاء في غراتس، النمسا، من 18 إلى 21 أيلول/ سبتمبر 2012.

The representative of ESA provided an overview and a demonstration of the new ESA space weather data portal and its various functionalities, inviting all participants to test it by creating accounts and then providing feedback.
وقدَّم ممثل الإيسا لمحة مجملة عن بوابة بيانات طقس الفضاء الجديدة، التابعة للإيسا، وعرضا إيضاحيا لها ولمختلف وظائفها، ودعا جميع المشاركين إلى تجريبها بإنشاء حسابات في تلك البوابة ثم تقديم إفادات مرتجعة عنها.

The participants also recommended that the next symposium in the series should continue to focus on space weather data and address the status of instrument arrays, the availability of collected data and space weather data modelling.
32- وأوصى المشاركون أيضا بأن تواصل الندوة القادمة في هذه السلسلة التركيز على بيانات طقس الفضاء، وتناول حالة صفائف الأجهزة ومدى توافر البيانات المجموعة ونمذجة بيانات طقس الفضاء.

It was also proposed that a future symposium in the series should consider the status of space weather data collection and the availability of instruments in more detail, as well as review available models and modelling developments in analysing space weather data.
واقتُرح أيضا عقد ندوة في المستقبل في إطار هذه السلسلة للنظر بمزيد من التفصيل في حالة جمع بيانات طقس الفضاء وتوفّر الأجهزة اللازمة، وكذلك استعراض النماذج المتاحة وتطورات النمذجة في تحليل بيانات طقس الفضاء.

In addition, given the stringent requirements for the timeliness of data availability established for space weather services, it was noted that dedicated actions to improve existing space weather data availability and its real-time collection, storage and dissemination could substantially benefit current service provision.
