34. Criminal legislation, which is based on the principle of the equality of all citizens before the law, conforms to generally recognized international standards and does not contain any norms or provisions that discriminate against women.
34- ويستند القانون الجنائي إلى مبدأ المساواة بين جميع المواطنين أمام القانون. ويتفق التشريع الجنائي لتركمانستان مع المعايير الدولية المقبولة عموماً، ولا يتضمن أية قواعد أو لوائح تنطوي على التمييز ضد المرأة.

In this regard, articles 8-28 of the Constitution protect human rights and fundamental freedoms, i.e., security of person, right to education, equality of all citizens before law, safeguard against discrimination, among others.
وفي هذا الصدد، تحمي المواد 8 إلى 28 من الدستور حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسيّة، أي حق الفرد في الأمان على شخصه، والحق في التعليم، والمساواة بين جميع المواطنين أمام القانون، والحماية من التمييز، من جملة حقوق أخرى.
