This means that there should be a greater partnership between the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the United Nations human rights mechanisms and other agencies and organs.

فيجب توسيع نطاق الشراكات القائمة كتلك التي بين مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية )اﻷونكتاد( ومنظمة اﻷمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية )اليونيدو( لتعزيز الاستثمار وتنمية المشاريع، بحيث يشمل برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة اﻹنمائي الذي يساعد في التجارة اﻷفريقية وبناء قدرات المشاريع بها.

(g) Cooperation and coordination between the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and other relevant bodies within their existing respective mandates should be enhanced, inter alia, on environment and sustainable development issues.
)ز( ينبغي تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين مؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية والهيئات ذات الصلة ضمن حدود الولايات القائمة لكل منها، ومن بينها الولايات المتعلقة بمسائل البيئة والتنمية المستدامة.

40. During the period under review, cooperation between the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the League of Arab States and its specialized organizations was further strengthened, in particular with regard to the inter-sectoral project initiated by the UNCTAD secretariat on prospects for sustained development of the Palestinian economy in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The interaction between the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and the Commission were noteworthy as a positive example of how such a complex issue as trade and environment could be dealt with in an effective and mutually supportive way.

ITC, as a joint technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO) for business aspects of trade development, is financed on an equal basis by WTO and the United Nations and, from an administrative point of view, operates on the basis of administrative arrangements approved by the General Assembly in its resolution 59/276.
24 - بما أن مركز التجارة الدولية هو وكالة تعاون تقني مشترك بين مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية (الأونكتاد) ومنظمة التجارة العالمية فيما يتعلق بقطاع الأعمال التجارية من تنمية التجارة، فإنه يجري تقاسم تمويله مناصفة بين منظمة التجارة العالمية والأمم المتحدة، ويعمل من المنظور الإداري على أساس الترتيبات الإدارية التي أقرتها الجمعية العامة في قرارها 59/276.

Likewise, cooperation among the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the OAU and African States would allow Africa to implement the programmes mentioned above insofar as they would help African countries in multilateral trade negotiations and would allow them to further benefit from advantages offered by globalization and to be able to deal with the risks it brings.
وبالمثل، فإن التعاون بين مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة للتجارة والتنمية ومنظمة الوحدة الأفريقية والدول الأفريقية سيسمح لأفريقيا بتنفيذ البرامج المذكورة أعلاه بقدر ما يفيد البلدان الأفريقية في المفاوضات التجارية المتعددة الأطراف ويسمح لها بالاستفادة من المزايا التي توفرها العولمة وتمكنها من معالجة المخاطر التي تنشأ عنها.
