تحث اللجنة الدولة الطرف على تعديل قانونها حتى لا يُستخدم أي اعتراف منتزع تحت التعذيب أو سوء المعاملة كدليل أو يستشهد به في أي دعوى قضائية، إلا إذا كان ذلك دليل إثبات ضد شخص متهم بارتكاب التعذيب.
