وإذ يشير أيضا إلى قرار اللجنة ٢١٤ )د - ١٩( المؤرخ ٧ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٧، الذي قررت فيه اللجنة إنشاء لجنة فنية للاهتمام بقضايا تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية في دول منطقة اللجنة، تعقد اجتماعاتها دوريا كل سنة،

1. Establishes the Technical Committee on liberalization of foreign trade and Economic Globalization in the Countries of the ESCWA Region, which will be made up of representatives of the States members of the Commission that specialize in this field and will undertake the following tasks:
١ - ينشئ لجنة فنية للاهتمام بقضايا تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية في بلدان اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا تتألف من ممثلين للدول اﻷعضاء في اللجنة متخصصين في هذا المجال وتتولى القيام بالمهام التالية:

(e) The eighth session of the Technical Committee on liberalization of foreign trade, Economic Globalization and Financing for Development in the Countries of the ESCWA Region (subprogramme 3) (2 days in 2013);
(هـ) الدورة الثامنة للجنة الفنية المعنية بقضايا تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية وتمويل التنمية في بلدان منطقة اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا (البرنامج الفرعي 3) (يومان في عام 2013)؛

(c) Cooperation with the secretariat of the Commission in establishing programmes to assist the countries of the region in outlining appropriate national and regional economic development policies to enable those countries to take greater advantage of the trends towards liberalization of foreign trade and economic globalization;
)ج( التعاون مع أمانة اللجنة في وضع برامج لمساعدة دول المنطقة على رسم السياسات الملائمة للتنمية الاقتصادية على المستوى القطري واﻹقليمي بهدف تعظيم الاستفادة من اتجاهات تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية،

1. Approves the amendment of Commission resolutions 212 (XIX) and 214 (XIX) to the effect that the sessions of the Committee on Water Resources and the Technical Committee on liberalization of foreign trade and Economic Globalization in the Countries of the ESCWA Region shall be held biennially rather than annually;
١ - يقرر تعديل قراري اللجنة ٢١٢ )د-١٩( و ٢١٤ )د-١٩( بحيث تعقد دورات كل من لجنة الموارد المائية واللجنة الفنية للاهتمام بقضايا تحرير التجارة الخارجية والعولمة الاقتصادية في دول منطقة اﻹسكوا، كل سنتين بدلا من كل سنة؛
