كما أعلمت الدولة الطرف اللجنة أن المحكمة البلدية قد خلصت إلى عدم مقبولية طلب إجراء تحقيقات شاملة ونزيهة في الادعاءات المتعلقة بوحشية الشرطة كسبب محتمل لوفاة السيد ريستيتش.

In this context, the Committee recalls the duty upon the State party to undertake a comprehensive and impartial investigation of the issues raised in the course of the author's detention, and to draw the appropriate penal and disciplinary consequences for the individuals found responsible.

110- إن الدول ملزمة بإجراء تحقيقات شاملة ونزيهة في الادعاءات المتعلقة بانتهاكات الحق في الحياة في جميع مظاهرها، وبكشف عن هوية المسؤولين عن هذه الانتهاكات ومقاضاتهم.
