In paragraph 1 of decision SC-6/4, the Conference of the Parties adopted a process for the evaluation, including a schedule, in order to provide the Conference of the Parties with the information on which to base its evaluation at its seventh meeting.
2 - وفي الفقرة 1 من المقرر ا س - 6/4، اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف عملية لإجراء التقييم، تتضمن جدولاً زمنياً، وذلك من أجل تزويد مؤتمر الأطراف بمعلومات يَستند إليها في التقييم الذي سيجريه إبان اجتماعه السابع.

9. In relation to the mandated activity of the SC to provide to the COP draft guidance for the operating entities of the financial mechanism of the Convention, the Committee recommends the following measures:

1. The following standard schedule is applied in order to provide the Conference of the Parties with the information on which to base its evaluation of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride (PFOSF) pursuant to paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention, which is to take place every four years.
1 - يُطبق الجدول الزمني الموحد التالي من أجل تزويد مؤتمر الأطراف بالمعلومات التي سيستند إليها في تقييمه لحامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني عملاً بالفقرتين 5 و6 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء للاتفاقية، وهو تقييم يُعتزم إجراؤه كل أربع سنوات.

In order to provide the Conference of the Parties with the information on which to base the evaluation and review of brominated diphenyl ethers at its seventh meeting, the following schedule is proposed; it shall be revised in 2015 and at every second ordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties thereafter:

31. In accordance with decision 2/CP.17, one of the functions of the SCF is to provide to the COP draft guidance to the operating entities of the Financial Mechanism of the Convention, with a view to improving the consistency and practicality of such guidance, taking into account the annual reports of the operating entities as well as relevant submissions from Parties.
31- تتمثل إحدى وظائف اللجنة الدائمة بموجب المقرر 2/م أ-17() في تزويد مؤتمر الأطراف بمشاريع إرشادات للكيانات التشغيلية التابعة للآلية المالية للاتفاقية، بغية تحسين اتساق هذه الإرشادات وطابعها العملي، مع مراعاة التقارير السنوية للكيانات التشغيلية وكذلك الإسهامات ذات الصلة الواردة من الأطراف.

The Committee on Science and Technology (CST) is expected to play a major role in providing the COP with information and advice on scientific matters relating to combating desertification and mitigating the effects of drought.

III. Calendrier de l'évaluation Le calendrier ci-après est proposé afin de fournir à la Conférence des Parties des informations qui serviront de base à l'évaluation du SPFO, de ses sels et du FSPFO; il sera, au besoin, révisé en 2015 et ensuite tous les quatre ans.

Relevant information will also be provided at regular intervals to the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
