وتوصي اللجنة بأن تسن الدولة الطرف تشريعا وطنيا يحظر اللجوء إلى تعقيم الفتيات، بغض النظر عما إذا كن تعانين من إعاقة، والنساء البالغات ذوات الإعاقة دون موافقتهن الحرة المبنية على العلم التام، إلا إذا كان هناك خطر جسيم على الحياة أو الصحة.

83. The Committee recommends that the State party enact a migration law that addresses the situation faced by migrant children and create tools to address the existing problems, especially with regard to unaccompanied migrant children.
83- توصي اللجنة بأن تسن الدولة الطرف قانوناً متعلقاً بالهجرة يتناول الأوضاع التي يواجهها الأطفال المهاجرون ويستحدث أدوات للتصدي للمشاكل القائمة خاصة فيما يتعلق بالأطفال المهاجرين غير المصحوبين.

It recommended that the State party pass a law that would make female genital mutilation a punishable offence, establish mechanisms for the protection of women and establish programmes of education and financial support for practitioners of excision who ceased their activities.
وأوصت بأن تسن الدولة الطرف قانونا يجعل من عملية تشويه الأعضاء التناسلية للإناث جريمة تستوجب العقاب، وأن تنشئ آليات لحماية المرأة، وتضع برامج تعليمية وتقديم الدعم المالي لممارسي الختان الذين كفوا عن مزاولة أنشطتهم.
