Within the framework of the minimum common programme of RESAP II, ESCAP will develop and implement, when resources become available, regional cooperative projects on space technology applications for natural disaster monitoring and mitigation at the national and regional levels, including on the following:
139- وفي اطار البرنامج المشترك الأدنى للمرحلة الثانية من برنامج ريساب " RESAP II " ، سوف تقوم الإسكاب، عندما تصبح الموارد متاحة، بوضع وتنفيذ مشاريع تعاونية اقليمية بشأن تطبيقات تكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض رصد الكوارث الطبيعية والتخفيف منها على الصعيدين الوطني والاقليمي، بما في ذلك مشاريع بشأن ما يلي:

ESCAP will continue to develop and implement regional cooperative projects on space technology applications for natural disaster monitoring and mitigation, within the framework of RESAP II (see A/AC.105/780, para. 134).
87- في إطار برنامج ريساب الثاني، سوف تواصل الإسكاب وضع وتنفيذ مشاريع تعاونية اقليمية بشأن تطبيقات تكنولوجيا الفضاء لأغراض رصد الكوارث الطبيعية والتخفيف منها (انظر A/AC.105/780، الفقرة 134).

In the context of the ACCORD plan of action, the following partnership proposals in East Asia are being studied: (a) establishing a regional cooperative mechanism to execute and monitor the progress of the ACCORD plan of action, (b) illicit crop monitoring, and (c) alternative development in East Asia.

Within the framework of the minimum common programme of RESAP II, ESCAP will develop and implement in future years, when resources become available, regional cooperative projects on the applications of satellite communication for sustainable development at the national and regional levels, including projects on the following issues:
207- وفي اطار البرنامج الأدنى المشترك للمرحلة الثانية من برنامج التطبيقات الفضائية الاقليمي من أجل التنمية المستدامة " RESAP II " ، ستقوم الإسكاب، في الأعوام القادمة، عندما تتوفر الموارد، بوضع مشاريع تعاونية اقليمية بشأن تطبيقات الاتصالات الساتلية لأغراض التنمية المستدامة على الصعيدين الوطني والاقليمي، بما في ذلك مشاريع عن المسائل التالية:

76. ESCAP would, in close cooperation with its members, relevant initiatives, and other international organizations, continue its efforts to promote the establishment of regional cooperative mechanisms on using space technology for disaster management, with the aim of providing its members with harmonized access to relevant information products and services.
76- وسوف تواصل اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ، بالتعاون مع أعضائها، والمبادرات ذات الصلة، والمنظمات الدولية الأخرى، جهودها لتشجيع انشاء آليات تعاونية اقليمية لاستخدام تكنولوجيا الفضاء في تدبر الكوارث، بهدف تمكين أعضائها من الوصول بشكل منسق الى النواتج والخدمات الاعلامية ذات الصلة.

49- أما اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتاعية لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ " الإسكاب " (ESCAP) فسوف تطور وتنفذ، ضمن اطار البرنامج الموحد الأدنى من المرحلة الثانية من برنامج التطبيقات الفضائية الاقليمي من أجل التنمية المستدامة " ريساب " (RESAP II)، مشاريع تعاونية اقليمية خاصة بالتكنولوجيا والتطبيقات الفضائية لأجل الرصد البيئي.
