Furthermore, there is a need to establish close cooperation between the Regional Centre and the Peace and Security Council of the African Union, in particular its institutions in the field of peace, disarmament and security, as well as with the relevant United Nations bodies and programmes in and for Africa, for greater effectiveness.
علاوة على ذلك، من الضروري إقامة تعاون وثيق بين المركز الإقليمي ومجلس الأمن والسلام التابع للاتحاد الأفريقي، ولا سيما مؤسساته العاملة في مجال السلام ونزع السلاح والأمن، ومع هيئات وبرامج الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة في أفريقيا ومن أجلها، تحقيقا لمزيد من الفعالية.

9. Requests the Secretary-General to continue to facilitate close cooperation between the Regional Centre and the African Union, in particular in the areas of disarmament, peace and security;
9 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يواصل تيسير إقامة تعاون وثيق بين المركز الإقليمي والاتحاد الأفريقي، وبخاصة في مجالات نزع السلاح والسلام والأمن؛

10. Requests the Secretary-General to continue to facilitate close cooperation between the Regional Centre and the African Union, in particular in the areas of disarmament, peace and security;
10 - تطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يواصل تيسير إقامة تعاون وثيق بين المركز الإقليمي والاتحاد الأفريقي، وبخاصة في مجالات نزع السلاح والسلام والأمن؛

Also requests the Secretary-General to facilitate the establishment of close cooperation between the Regional Centre and the Organization of African Unity, in particular in the area of peace, security and development, and to continue to assist the Director of the Regional Centre in his efforts to stabilize the financial situation of the Centre and revitalize its activities;
5 - تطلب أيضا إلى الأمين العام أن يسهل إقامة تعاون وثيق بين المركز الإقليمي ومنظمة الوحدة الأفريقية، ولا سيما في مجال السلام والأمن والتنمية، وأن يواصل مساعدة مدير المركز الإقليمي في جهوده المبذولة لتثبيت حالة المركز المالية وإنعاش أنشطته؛
