(a) strengthen its efforts to implement the National AIDS Control Programme in order to prevent the incidence and spread of HIV/AIDS, for example, by updating the Programme to respond to all existing risk factors as mentioned above and by providing adolescents with accurate and comprehensive information about HIV/AIDS, its transmission channels, treatment and preventive measures, in schools and other places frequented by them;
(أ) تعزيز ما تبذله من جهود في سبيل تنفيذ البرنامج الوطني لمكافحة الإيدز، وذلك لمنع الإصابة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشري/الإيدز وتفشيها، مثلاً بتحديث البرنامج للتصدي لجميع عوامل التعرض للإصابة، كما وردت الإشارة إلى ذلك أعلاه، وإمداد المراهقين بمعلومات دقيقة وشاملة عن فيروس نقص المناعة البشري/الإيدز وطرائق انتقاله وتدابير علاجه والوقاية منه في المدارس وغيرها من الأماكن التي يرتادونها؛

(a) strengthen its efforts in combating the spread and effects of HIV/AIDS, in particular by effectively implementing the National Strategic Plan, policies and guidelines on HIV/AIDS, infant and child feeding and the programme for preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS;

(i) Further urging the Government to strengthen its efforts to prevent and respond to sexual violence against children, including by holding accountable perpetrators of such crimes, by removing obstacles in the access to justice and by ensuring timely and appropriate care for child victims, including through facilitating provision of health-care services for victims and improving its national coverage and quality in the most vulnerable areas.
(ط) تحـث الحكومة كذلك على تعزيز ما تبذله من جهود لمنع أعمال العنف الجنسي المرتكبة ضــد الأطفال والتصدي لها بطرق منها محاسبة مرتكبي هذه الجرائم، وإزالة العقبات التي تعترض اللجوء إلى القضاء، وكفالة توفير الرعاية المناسبة للضحايا من الأطفال في الوقت المناسب، بسُـبل منها تيسير توفير خدمات الرعاية الصحية للضحايا وزيادة تغطيتها الوطنية وتحسين نوعيتها والمناطق ذات الأوضاع الأشـد هشاشة.

They also encouraged LDCs to enhance efforts in domestic resources mobilization and rebalancing the allocation of resources, including from development aid, between the social and productive sectors of LDCs with increased attention to the latter.

The meeting also recommended that, considering the close link between crime prevention and criminal justice and sustainable development, indicators on security and justice should be included in the human development index in order to encourage States to enhance efforts in that regard.
