1. The representative of the United States of America stated that her delegation had joined in the consensus with respect to adopting draft resolution E/CN.9/2004/L.6 but that it wished to make an explanation of its position for the record, a summary of which follows.
1 - قالت ممثلة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية إن وفدها قد انضم إلى توافق الآراء بخصوص اعتماد مشروع القرار E/CN.9/2004/L.6 لكنه يود تقديم تعليل لموقفه وهو يطلب تدوينه رسميا، وفيما يلي موجز لذلك التعليل.

The branch also agreed that members and alternate members serving as members could provide an explanation of a dissenting vote with respect to any decision of the branch, which would be included in an annex to the report on the meeting at which the decision was taken or to the report on the meeting subsequent to a decision taken by electronic means.
